After years immersed in the fast-paced routine of London, Saulo and I (Jaque) felt it was time to breathe differently. We traded the hurry for the ocean breeze, London’s gray skies for Bahia’s golden light - and it was in Corumbau that we finally found what our hearts had long been searching for:
time, peace, and a simple, embracing beauty.
Vila da Falésia was born from this discovery — a lovingly created hideaway, inspired by traditional fishing cottages, where every detail invites you to slow down, live at your own pace, and reconnect with yourself.
Here, there are no schedules to follow - cook when you want, rest when you feel like it, and let yourself drift on the soft breeze of a place that feels suspended in time.

Head right along the beach and follow a trail drawn by clear sands and calm waters.
First comes Praia do Salgado, then O Riacho, and farther along, the near-pristine beauty of Praia do Pixaim.
Each beach has its own serene rhythm, with a few low-key rest stops along the way — nothing that takes away from the wild, untouched feeling of the coast.
It’s a 12-kilometer stretch of beach leading to the iconic Ponta do Corumbau, where the sand stretches into the sea at low tide, forming one of the region’s most breathtaking landscapes.
This is a journey to enjoy slowly — on foot or by bike — letting time drift with the breeze and the sound of the waves.
