Hidden Paradise of Corumbau

Corumbau doesn’t rush.
Here, time walks barefoot,
and the most beautiful paths
have no signs.

Ponta do Corumbau - A Path Over the Sea

The Corumbau Extractive Reserve is one of the region’s natural treasures — a place of crystal-clear, calm waters surrounded by coral reefs that form stunning natural pools, perfect for swimming and soaking in the beauty.

Our postcard-worthy landmark is Ponta do Corumbau, a vast sandbank that emerges at low tide, creating a breathtaking landscape ideal for walking and unforgettable photos.

Whale Watching in Winter

During the winter months, humpback whales pass by these shores and can be seen on boat tours. It’s a truly unique experience that moves both adults and children, reminding us of nature’s grandeur.

Part of the Abrolhos Bank

We are part of the Abrolhos Bank, an important environmental preservation area that protects the coral reefs, marine life, and the delicate balance of coastal ecosystems.

Nearby Cultural Gems

We’re also close to the Pataxó indigenous village of Barra Velha, Caraíva, and the historic Barra do Cahy — places full of culture, beauty, and authentic experiences.

If you seek tranquility, vibrant nature, and a genuine connection with what truly matters, this is your place.
